Dan Cotton is an educator working in the sector for 25+ years. For the past 10 years, Dan has worked for the Teach Like a Champion (TLAC) Team, a teacher and leader training organization that supports great teaching nationally and globally. For the past 8 years, Dan has worked as the Director of Strategy, supporting all parts of TLAC’s strategic partnership work–developing and designing partnerships, building content, and facilitating training. Prior to joining the TLAC team, Dan worked in district and charter schools for 17 years, first as a high school English teacher and later as a Director of Academics in middle and elementary schools. Dan has a M.A. in Education from Stanford University, and a B.A. in English from Yale University.
