Lynn Johnson grew up in a working-class family in Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of a Swedish immigrant, Sven Gunnar Johansson. Currently an adjunct faculty member in the Massry School of Business, University at Albany, where he teaches Change Management, Dr. Johnson is a former MBA Director and Professor of Management at the Westchester Graduate Center of Long Island University.
In Lynn’s earlier career he has held such varied posts as Founding President, Edison Polymer Innovation Corporation, a university-industry cooperative in Northeast Ohio; Director of Lifelong Learning at the Ohio Board of Regents; Assistant Provost at the University of Akron; Director of the Management Institute, New York University; and President, Hudson-Mohawk Association of Colleges and Universities, a consortium of academic institutions in Albany, New York.
Lynn is a graduate of Yale College and holds master’s degrees from Union Theological Seminary and the University of New Hampshire. His Ph.D. is from the Rackham Graduate School, University of Michigan.
